Dan is a graduate of the Dalhousie University Commerce program.

Dan has worked with two award-winning global seafood exporters, served as a sales associate in the region’s premier yacht shop and sail making company, and coordinated retail distribution for one of North America’s leading consumer products companies.

A former member of the Nova Scotia Sailing Team, Dan has competed at the national and international levels and served as a Sailing Coach for one of the province’s leading yacht clubs. In recent years, Dan has been an integral part of organized and successful yacht racing teams based out of Halifax.

Dan’s entrepreneurial spirit drives him to find the insurance solution that works for his clients. With a special expertise in the marine sector, Dan assists clients with both their Commercial Insurance needs, and their Home & Auto needs.

Emily worked in administration and accounting in the natural resources industry and as a professional dressage rider throughout North America before joining Gateway’s administrative team. As part of our Head Office administration team, she is also the Executive Assistant to the President.

Emily enjoys the outdoors and volunteers with numerous community groups.
